  1. I learned about the military industry complex near the end of my military career working alongside active duty members, government employees and contractors. If there is no war, those thousands of positions go away. It is that simple and why I started telling people, this country needs war to keep people employed, in lucrative positions too. Also, those are billion dollar contracts that are being given to the people who are their donors. They don’t care about the lives that are lost in war because it is not their sons and daughters who are dying. They make millions, but a dead person, is worth $400,000 +/-. That equals profit for them and losing nothing. And we all know that they don’t care about the broken who returns home and needs help because that system quality is not 5 star quality.

  2. Now we know why this administration was very comfortable leaving billions of dollars of military weapons and equipment in Afghanistan. It was only tax dollars that they will pay billions more to get newer, more expensive weapons and equipment.
