  1. I am confused and an explanation will be greatly appreciated. I was in Israel in December 2022. While I was there, I visited Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and West Bank. When you go into Bethlehem, it is a armed border where (I can’t remember exactly what the sign said which country is not allowed in/out) that separates the two areas. Both were developed areas and didn’t look like rundown cities. It seemed like they were able to live separately, no fighting. Isn’t that the peaceful solution where they live in their designated areas?
