  1. The reason this is being pushed now is because Dems do not control the house. They know it is not going to go anywhere in the house and they will blame that on the ‘racist Republicans’ for not doing this law and campaign on this with low informed voters. It is strategic timing because why didn’t they submit this resolution last term when they had control of everything. Also, are the illegals being brought here by NGOs, which is a form of modern day slavery, are they going to ask for reparations in 50-100 years too?

  2. The left strives on hate, division and using empty rhetoric to buy votes. No one today was a slave master or a slave. How is it Asians, Indians, Hispanics, Africans and even people from the Caribbean can come to this country with dollars in their pockets and make a comfortable living but black people born here can’t. The way out of poverty is education and financial management skills. Two thing Dem politicians are not focused on.
