  1. I visited India in December 2022. If you follow India history, when they became independent from British, their population, middle class and literacy rate all improved drastically. Technically, they have the secret how to grow a country. The problem with India is their population and their class inequalities. They need to slow down their population growth because it is the low income people, who can barely survive, is who are growing that population to fast. They have a strong family culture and cares about education, completely opposite to what the US is pushing now. India actually reminded me of the US because of their income inequality which is obvious and prevalent. As a cab driver told me, the wealthy have one or two kids while the people living in poverty have five or more. It was sad to see, anytime my cab stopped at a red light, people, women with babies, girls doing cartwheels, men, would come up to the car window begging. Seeing the slums not to far from high rises. Told about arrange marriages and how generations live in one household because they don’t move out. But again, the wealthy send their kids to different countries and some don’t come back.
