  1. The portrayal of the ‘perfect family’ are more likely a facade. Most people thought my family (adulthood not childhood) was like the Cosby’s. Those people were shocked when we got a divorced. It is easy to smile through pain.

  2. I admit, as the fourth of 5 kids, I didn’t want kids because I was a jealous and selfish child. When I got married, he married me knowing I didn’t want kids. However, I ended up working with around lots of pregnant women, ‘drank the water’ that gave me motherly bug. I had a daughter. A great decision. Marriage ended, never remarried because I didn’t want to bring a man around her. Unfortunately, like many families today, she changed in college and we no longer have a relationship.
