  1. I’m late to comment because I’ve been traveling to different countries and had this in my watch later for almost 2 weeks. Sometimes I pinch myself because I feel I am the anomaly of this credit crap. Like many others in these comments, I live within my means and is financially astute now. I live within my means and off of 25% of my monthly income, which isn’t much but it’s enough for me to live my dreams. My only debt is my car note and mortgage and I can pay off the car but decided to travel instead since those debts are controlled. As a retiree, if I lose my income, this country will have bigger problems to worry about. Yes, I had rough beginnings, especially thinking back of my first car note which was 27% because I had bad credit since I wasn’t paying my student loans. But I learned. Yes, I do use credit cards but I pay them off monthly so I can get the reward points. I know there are some financial advisors that frown about that but I don’t care because I work hard to get what I got now. And thanks to the reward points, I was able to buy a Tanzanite ring in Tanzania.
