Which one is lying? Mayorkas who says they are being vetted and checked or Lightfoot who cried weeks ago saying there are not being vetting? Which liar? Legal immigrants need to sue the government for showing favoritism, discrimination and to recoup all of the costs they paid to get their legal citizenship. That is not fair at all for them.
