@ytSuns26 On another note, there was a Dave Ramsey episode with a young guy, 26, who makes over $100,000+, invest 15%+ of his income and wanted advice on how much to start saving for a house. He mentioned how he want to get married in the future. If I can talk to that guy is to tell him to make sure the girl he start a relationship with have her same financial acuity and she is not going to be a gold digger.

Yes, if at 51 and married and only have $10,000 student loan balance, they are not financially mature to be a homeowner. I know plenty of people who got mortgages that have student loan, unless you have a $100,000 student loan balance.

If at 51 year old, married person who only have a $10,000 student loan balance, they are not financially mature to be a homeowner. I know plenty of people who are homeowners, got mortgages and have student loan. Of course unless you have a $100,000 student loan balance, that changes things and say you were not smart at all.
