  2. I didn’t grow up using or being around people who used that word. When I was in Navy boot camp, a girl got set back to my company. She, from South Central California, would come to us, the black girls, and use that word. I said, can you please do not use that words around me. She wanted to whoop by @$$ because she was a hood, gangster girl. I was a 130 lbs back then and really skinny and did the okay, head tilt look. We ended up being very good friends, stayed in touch wherever we went, retired and is the only person from boot camp and Navy days I stayed in touch with.
