  1. Yes, if the former bartender primaries Schumer, that will signify a takeover of Dems by progressives. That will farther divide them because all Dems do not support progressives. However, the good news for Republicans is it doesn’t change the Senate landscape because it will a Dem replacing a Dem. Another sad reality is Dems still think their problem was messaging and not the issues they support. As a matter of fact, they are doubling down on the 20% of the 80/20 issues because their bubble dwelling base is outrage.
