  1. I’ve actually been in a situation like that were I was getting pulled over in the back hills of NY and didn’t stop right away because I was looking for a lite area. When I did pull over, the cop initially was mad I didn’t pull over right away and I explained to him the safety reason for waiting until I made it to a lite area. I also said how I turned on my hazard lights to acknowledge I saw him. He accepted my response, asked where I was going, I told him and after checking my ID and registration, he let me go.
