Ben B Barnes Why do some people think black people are so ‘dumb’ they have to make excuses for them not being able to acquire things any mature adult should be capable of getting. No wonder the senile puppet makes those racists comments about black people not knowing how to access the internet, some are clean and articulate, some are just as bright as whites. Those are insults to blacks instead of people making excuses for that ignorance.
What is discriminatory about requiring an state ID card when this is a requirement for most if not all states and some states offer them for free? And to add, since 9/11, IDs are required for every faucet in life, work/school, get housing, banking, traveling, major purchases, in order to get social programs funding, etc. Why should mail-in be no excuses? For years, it required a reason, being out of state or having a disability and that is suffice. Why should a lazy person who is mobile, be awarded special treatment and be exempt when everyone else have to go to the polling location? They are open on weekends during early voting to minimize work schedule conflicts. How ‘equal’ is putting lots of drop boxes in black neighborhoods but not in low income white neighborhoods (they do exists)? It seems many of the complaints are excuses. Voting organizations should help blacks get the necessary IDs that will help them for more than that one voting day.
I don’t know how old you are, but from childhood, in the 70s/80s, staying up to watch election results, there have NEVER been a time when counting STOPPED especially in multiple cities, around the same time. To you, that might not be suspicious but to any intelligent person, it is. To add insult more, Time magazine boosted about they ‘fortified’ the election.
For what they claim ‘suppressing the black voter,’ the same people overlook the majority of white plus other minorities low income communities that lives within the same income thresholds but is able to get out to vote.
Stop making excuses for black people, help them move up the information ladder not dumb them down or keep them down.
