  1. Yes, they can only repeat what they were told to say. No critical thought process at all. Subtle is correct. Trans- racial makes more sense because a mixed race person can have blonde hair and blue eyes but claim the race of brown/black parent because they are a product of both. Also there are very light skinned people who can pass as white but they are not.
