What? $22,000 (NY) and $26,000 (B’more) per year, add $38,000 (Chicago) but they are all failing. It is obviously not lack of funding that is the problem. Where is that money going? The sad part is a lot of parents do not seem to care about these statistics. Teacher unions are so focus on everything other than improving students proficiencies. This was so obvious when Randi was testifying in congress, she made sure to mention her wife. Who cares about her marital status and how does that improve those kids proficiency? It don’t.
