This went from this is Russian disinformation, to my son didn’t make money in other countries, to I didn’t know what my son did in other countries, to I was not in business with my son, to I discussed the weather and my other son with his business partners. Did I miss something? Meanwhile, there is a video of him threatening to withhold billions if the Ukraine government didn’t do what he wanted him to do, fire the prosecutor who was investigating the company this son was working at. To Dana’s point, not only do you sign an ethical form about conflict of interests but EVERYONE with a high level security clearance is asked specifically if you have done business with foreign countries and made any money with foreign countries. When I was asked that, I looked at them like they were crazy but I know why it is a problem.
