The problem is those politicians, especially that mayor elect, teachers, activists, and even parents are telling those kids that it is okay to do that because they are entitled to other people’s property. Until that root problem has changed, nothing will change. No dude, young people acting like criminals SHOULD not be supported but should be punished. He is another activist elected to office that will not better the life for most Chicagoans. Here is what needs to happen, businesses need to close their businesses temporarily, board up the windows, in a boycott to those policies while simultaneously, cops need to do a sick out on a coordinated plan in all of those major cities until their leadership changes their policies.

What is so freaking frustrating is Pastor Cory Brooks, a pastor in Chicago, who stayed on the rooftop of a building in Chicago, for over 90 days, during the winter cold days, to raise money to build a community center so kids can have some place positive to go to. If that mayor is serious about helping kids, giving them something to do, why isn’t he and the city council, helping him build that community center and building more around Chicago? Because they just don’t care about those kids, really don’t want to help them and is using them as a campaign ruse like they do every other issue.
