Many educators are more focused on teaching children ideology not reading, writing and arithmetic. Who is going to hire someone who can’t read, write and do basic math? Who benefits when people don’t know how to do basic math, can’t balance a checkbook? Banks and financial companies who lobby politicians.

@Jeremy_the_bot There are plenty of teachers who want to be TicTok/social media famous bragging on themselves teaching that stuff. Is it all teachers? Of course not. I didn’t say that. Also, anyone can FIOA your local school board for documentation to learn where the funding is going. I’ve been to meeting where I saw some budgets documentation. Also, I’ve been to my local school board meetings.
