  1. What Harold said was very interesting that less than 10% of school budgets comes from the federal government. Actually, that is a good reason to close it because it should have a large federal budget if that money is not being given to the states. But I do agree a lot of the failures is also on the local systems. That is why large cities, traditionally blue cities, are failing and top ranking school systems are in red cities/counties.
