It is hard to have sympathy for US major cities since they keep voting for those politicians. For the few who may not be, sorry but you have to get your fellow citizens to voted for public safety. As for the police departments around the country, implement a caller ID system, if they voted for this reply, ‘I’m sorry we are unable to get to you at this moment due to defunding our department. Please contact your local, state or national politicians for assistance. Maybe they can send you one of their security guards to assist you during this time of need. Good luck.’
