I'm glad to see this Dem Porter speak out. Thank you very much for speaking out. He not only criticized it but he provided a solution to fix it. If that course really want to teach black history, they will emphasize faith as a major part of black history and not omit or minimize. Slaves prayed to and had deep faith in God to get them through slavery and it wasn't queerness. As a matter of fact, the black community having strong faith is why they are known to be phobic. We all know the course also omitted the first black congressmen, the black men started HBCU, Ben Carson and how they were all conservatives.
