  1. Politicians are not gojng to get rid of homelessness for the same reason they will not give black people reparations. They need to keep people poor and dependent on them to keep their power over them. Homeless programs receive millions, maybe even billions in funding, but the money is ciphered at the top. If they fix homelessness, they will lose that funding and that can't happen.
