  1. That college situation is all jacked up anyway you put it. My child, a black child, was accepted at USC, her first choice school. The school offered her $15k scholarship on a $70k a year tuition. She had a 4.11 GPA, ACT 32, 4 different honors society, mock trial, track and different clubs. But I can bet, another black child that didn’t have her school resume probably got more money to attend. And this was around the time that actress family bought their way into that school. In their case, it was money over merit while in our case, we had merit and not enough money.
