@akal8775 Or, why aren’t we holding colleges responsible for paying off student tuition debt for giving them useless degrees?

@MCWAY1 Congratulations, dad, on raising a smart kid. My daughter finished college in 3 years not 4 because of dual enrollment, AP and Honors courses. She stayed in state that paid her tuition but ran up student loans for housing. Also, she would have finished her Master's in 5 years but I think the school's program was willing to milk students when they prioritized money not feasibility by not factoring in the final thesis within 2 years but made it due after summer. I don’t understand why school systems are willing to stop those honors courses knowing it helps keep kids' college costs down. Actually, I know why. They just want kids to go in debt.

@mitchd949 Here's the deal, they are not marketing Rolex and Rolls Royce as a necessity in life or something that is needed to get a job. Yes, I agree everything in life is a choice and affordable options exists.

I used to be an advocate for college and military service. Not anymore. Wokeness killed that. College is now one of the biggest grifts and if the government starts paying for tuition, the costs will skyrocket more.
