  1. What happened was unnecessary and sad. Every weekend lots of black people are killed by other black people but city, state, national politicians and the media don’t care about that. But the less than 1% time, when stupid people do something stupid, they want to act like they care. When are we going to talk about criminals feeling free to criminalize victims without facing any consequences. If they want to take away police immunity, they should take away politicians, DAs, prosecutors and judges immunity as well. They always want to use mental health as an excuse. Million of people have mental health issues that don’t conduct crimes. There needs to be a serious conversation about why criminals are being released to recommit crimes.
