  2. I had the opportunity to walk the grounds of Normandy, and Omaha Beach, France, two years ago, July 2022. It was a humbling sight to see. The one question that loomed is why did they die considering what is happening today not just in the US but in the world? I did the call to serve and often wonder, what did I fight for when those who serve with me are allowing the naive many who didn’t take away our freedoms. Sad times. ~ Navy veteran
