  4. Mary (mother of Jesus) was 12-14 years old when she married Joseph aged 40 years old- according to Biblical historians. They all married very young in those days. Some Texan white ladies say their grandmothers married at 13. Nowadays we all marry typically in our 20s. Historically everyone married very young.
