  1. I taught at an inner-city middle school where there almost on white kids. I tried everything to get through to the black kids and had no luck. I asked one of our black custodians if she had an answer. She told me that the kides see getting an education as trying to be like whitey, I had no idea what to do.

  2. I went to Louisiana once, I tried a crawfish, no thanks. Louisiana is a very poor state.
