  19. Lakewood Mall in Lakewood CA but I haven't been there in over a year. I went to one in Huntington Beach CA about 2 years ago, that use to kind of up scale but it had too many homeless people in it.

  22. I live in Long Beach CALIFORNIA and I rarely see a police officer. We even have our own PD. Also just driving around the greater LA area again I rarely see Po Pos. Also a lot of people just think of California as one big city, but much of is rural too. My car has been broken into twice in the last 2 years and my mailbox just got pried open.

  23. I was a car trip with my husband, and we had just entered into Arizona from New Mexico. We lost a tire and our car with an attached trailer did a 360 in the dirt. I was put in an ambulance and taken to New Mexico as the hospital was the closest one. I was in what they called an "Indian hospital". I am curious, are Native Americans counted as Hispanic in statistics?

  29. I use to live in the Redlands area (next county over from Los Angeles, 50 miles inland from the beach and as a teacher I could not afford to live there. I just checked the lowest priced home is $265,000 and even the real estate agent said it needs work. The pictures show a diaster. Also people don't get the problem with water here, people need to leave there is not enough water. The central valley provides a great amount of food for the country and they are fighting for water as LA gets it all.

  38. I love Carmel but it is way out of my price range, all the lots are very small too. The summers are more foggy than clear which I just love as I can't handle much sun.

  47. I hate California, but if money were not a problem I would move to Carmel by the Sea, I love the pines and the ocean. Lots of fog to keep it cool but no snow!
