Good video, but at this juncture in Ukrine it is just about getting major end items on hand. It is an issue of survival. Sustainment maintenance is a peace time military life cycle management construct so a weapon system that is procured has longevity. The expected life cycle of major end items in a high intensity conflict is a matter of days to weeks. So spare parts would not be an issue. The major end item is used for a mission set, then it becomes dammaged of destroyed. Then Ukraine asks others for more end items. The Leo II would have easily smoked any Soviet tank in 1985 in West Germany, and any Leo II in Ukraine would do the same today.

Excellent topic!! Over the decades incorrect historcal narratives are repeated by lazy scholars, thus becoming the accepted consensus. Glantz's scholarship is unquestionable and he has shown as a form of mobility, and the horse did play a significant role in the largest theater of operation in WW2. Keep up the great work.

They probably dont explode due to sympathetic effects of a catastrophe explosision because the blocks are inert... Just VISMODS placed on the tanks during peacetime. Real ERA blocks were probably never puchase is significant numbers. I dont want loads of exploding boxes down in the motor pool on ordinary days.. ERA blocks we are use to seeing are probably a giant PSYOP... :o

Great video. But the 105mm gun is an outstanding main gun on a tank. If M735, M833 or M900 APFSDS-T or M456 HEAT are available then the 105mm L7 (M68 gun) will not have any problems in destroying any Russian tanks... Also with expericed tank crewmen only tank about two weeks of additional training would be needed to be functional. You are spot on in reference to maintenance. That is an area where mechanics need to have a depth of experience to keeps tanks FMC. Keep up the great work.

It is the Tank Commander's job to guide any tank in reverse at any speed. A good Tank Commander has no problem doing this task.
