  1. With creditble US strike & sustainment capabilities in Korea; the "knock out punch" of US facilities only in Japan doesnt pass a common sense logic check. Guam is sovereign US territory; this in fact does trigger NATO Article 5 because a Chinese attack of Guam is a direct attack on the United States. Deterrance works. Ask West Germany if it worked for them?..
