If we really want to try to curve gun violence..why don't we have a buy back..we'll call it..gats for cash..and no questions asked..then we can get an idea of how many guns have been used in previous crimes and we can check to see how many were stolen. Reported stolen etc.we can check gun stores to see who bought bullets and shells..but no gun or shotgun..then we can create a bill stating..-in order to buy ammo..you must produce the weapons you are buying them for and the licenses for each..you can't stop a law abider from purchasing a gun..but what about the ammo?..
