  1. I would prefer to use public and unknown wifi compared to nord ! How anyone can think a VPN gives anonymity or even privacy is beyond me and shows they advertise for money - or simply do not understand the services VPNs sell. I can have stats on customer traffic, manipulate data for payment to tamper with search results and redirect traffic to sites - also get stats, capture user names and passwords. I can pay for customer profiles too, all because your VPN is in a country no data protection laws apply. Your ISP at least operates according to Laws. The other myth is that your VPN data is not logged. It might not be directly by the IP company at times, but it is by Law by hostings and rack companies that supply the equipment to VPNs to operate in DataCenters! You are all being conneced by a play on words. Anything in and out of the UK is also logged by Law and must be able to be decrypted and inspected. That shows ALL companies are complying with Laws of different countries, why do you think people using VPNs are always caught doing illegal things when they try to hide. Why do you think so many Tor users are caught, that is nothing more than a proxy now, the term anonymity was dropped and discontinued as it was proved not to be true now.
