It's only when patients are very quiet you have to be concerned more. At the scene of accidents, the ones making most noise are checked quickly and left in favour of treating those not moving and not saying much.

Not many. Adults think differently to children. You don't expect an 8year old to do a full risk assessment and have protective equipment - use a bit of common sense.

I don't believe you. Lots of people come on here and claim to have been in the job and done lots of things, but are only after attention. Why would you be admitting to standing back and doing nothing, or admitting to not doing your job and trying to save people? Your comment makes no sense whatsoever.

Well if it was the UK, he would have died by the time it takes to get ambulances to show up. Police often have to take people directly to hospitals. Far too many people, often with a lack of understanding of the UK and not English speaking do not understand what the 999 service is for. On all the TV shows they highlight this and try to advise people. 999 is not a taxi service or for dealing with someone as they can't be bothered to go and see a Doctor or they just want to jump the queue (as has become traditional for some) in the hospital. We still have the usual low intelligence people too that will call 999 or 112 and demand ambulances for cut fingers, headaches, sunburn, a scratch from a cat etc. They should all be prosecuted for misuse of the emergency system.
