  1. The UK Government lied to us to boost the sale of diesel vehicles with added premiums. I bought one years ago because of the huge MPG, torque, plus low tax. Now I am stuck with petrol and pay 5x the road tax and have much higher CO2 output. Anyway, what about the TYRE PRESSURE ? My cars have always had one for 3 people, one for 5 people with extra load and one called "ECO", but they did not state what they meant by ECO. I had 33PSI "comfort" and 39PIS "ECO". It was supplied with 39PSI and bounced, plus found every bump in the road. I dropped it down to 33PSI and the car is better although steering slightly heavier. There is NO difference to fuel economy between 33PSI and 39PSI. The car is no faster, it just has less grip and can spin the front tyres with little pressure on the accelerator. In SPORT mode with 39PSI it is almost impossible to drive, it just ruins the tyres and in some conditions cuts the power completely.
