  1. Lots of FAKE HOMELESS live in every City - ask yourself where they all went during lockdown. They went back to the hostels and homes they live in. They are only on the streets as they beg for money in return for drugs. In Chester there are notices telling people not to give them money. If you give a fake homeless person on the street money, you are helping to kill them.

  2. There is plenty of help for genuine homeless people, they all take it and this is funded by the council and local businesses. They go out of their way to get housing for people and get them in to employment, I have seen this often with GENUINE people falling on hard times. They have turned their life around. What you are seeing is scammers, junkies, alcoholics and fake homeless littering the streets with their "begging kit" that consists of a cardboard sign, a rented dog, a tent, smelly blankets and sleeping bag and dirty clothes to change in to. Liverpool Council run a campaign called "no 2nd night" meaning no one had to spend a 2nd night on the streets, they would be approached a few times day and night and offered help. The fake scroungers did not want that help, they chose to stay on the streets, but accepted gifts and meals/drinks etc. They stayed at home during lockdown as there was no one out to beg for money for heroin and crack. DO NOT allow yourself to be scammed - maybe as a volunteer or observer, go out with outreach workers, speak to the council and speak to local businesses that put millions in to shelters, shared housing and funded private healthcare and services for GENUINE people. You never see the genuine people back after a few days, many will go back after a year to thank those involved and tell them how much they achieved.

  3. They ALL WENT HOME DURING LOCKDOWN so the only reason they choose to stay on the streets is to get money. Most are controlled by criminal gangs the police are aware of and do not stop. They force the people to collect money for them each day and give drugs in return according to an ex-chief that was on the Pete Price phone-in years ago. They are #FakeHomeless as they have places to stay at hostels, shared houses and flats. It is a total scam and you should not fall for any of this. Many get the train in to set up in the morning and change with others during the day. The mess they leave, especially drugs paraphernalia and bodily fluids and waste is awful - someone has to clean all that up. They buy these tents to make it look like they have nothing, they rent dogs off a man that has about 5 of them and most have signs with the same style of writing and phrases. THEY ARE FAKE HOMELESS Do not give money to them and they will clear off as they did in Lockdown.

  6. They do get help, but refuse it as staying on the streets suits them. It is a lifestyle choice to be Fake Homeless and play the victim to scam people.

  7. They choose to live like this. Speak to the charity outreach workers in the City and they will tell you they are fake homeless. I used to feel sorry for them, but after seeing what they did and how they operated, I found most lived not far from the City Centre, some travelled by train from as far as Ellesmere Port in the morning to set up in a doorway or by a cash machine. They have places in the YMCA by Scotland Road, Liverpool and Whetstone Lane, Wirral. All are substance misusers and have criminal records. If you want to clear the streets, give them their drugs for free, this would stop criminal gangs forcing them to collect money for them in exchange for drugs. They all stayed at home during lockdown, if they were really homeless they would have still been there. Don't be scammed by these organised crime groups.

  9. They choose to be - most have homes and places in hostels, but collecting money on the streets is good for them. At least people coming over by RNLI Taxi have a bit of self respect and are not junkies and possibly not criminals.

  11. Why is she expecting the council to give her anything. She is earning money, what is stopping her? If she got a job for herself, she can go and buy or rent somewhere to live. It's not down to the council to just find her somewhere and sort it all out for her is it.

  12. Go on then. If you want to help a fake homeless person and be completely scammed, you go for it. There are lots of charities in Liverpool helping these people on a daily basis, I have been out with them to see what it was all about. The Fake Homeless are deceptive, dishonest, manipulative scammers, they will take advantage of easy targets. One hostel had a number of people having legs cut off. Nothing to do with lies about being in the army, it was to do with injecting drugs. One woman even caused her own amputation to get more money in benefits. That is what drugs do to people.
