What a total waste of resources that was - through driver stupidity. I thought people needed a basic level of intelligence to get a taxi licence and I would expect a far higher standard from a Hackney Driver as they put in a lot more studying. How did the drivers not see multiple warning signs and how did they not see the water and understand the height of their vehicles? Were the drivers charged with criminal offences for endangering the life of others and were they drink and drug tested ?
