A group of orcas named Gladys, led by a more intelligent than average female who probably grew up alone (first seen as an immaure adult) has had great success and has formed a pod of its own that moves between Galicia, where they pass multitude of dolphins and different whales and the Strait of Gibraltar, where they also pass and huge bluefin tunas.
This female, always accompanied by smaller specimens, teaches how to stop whales by breaking the "caudal fin" of the sailboats. Fishermen in the area have jumped into the water and have not shown the slightest aggressiveness. It is common to do so when fishing for tuna, they collaborate by surrounding them towards the nets and take some as a prize, making it easier for them to catch, therefore we cannot really talk about attacks on humans, it is simply a new teaching technique.
As for sharks, we know that a family in the Sea of Cortez began spinning great white sharks to make them enter into tonic immobility and generally eat only their great liver for the fat, but probably is more a competence like the lions and hyenas.
This elaborate behavior is undoubtedly atavistic, what happens is that it is now seen because there are thousands of cameras in the sea, more respect for sharks and some hunting habits are very likely to return and disappear as they become part of "particular family cultures" that depends on the presence of certain prey or others.
