The thing is what these cops don’t understand, that their covert questioning regarding criminal activity, makes them entirely unfit to also ask questions regarding physical safety and drug usage. The public cannot discern criminal questioning and safety questions, just by an assurance from the police, as they’re not required to be upfront about their intentions. The system is flawed (and the war on drugs is lost).
