  1. Well, I can't tell what American candies are like, but I've heard Brits joking, that it would be a crime in continental Europe to call "a chocolate" the substance bearing that name in UK.

  2. "..for literally a hundred years.." I guess for Americans that sounds like an impressive run. I live in a town on outskirts of Europe, my secondary school was founded in XVII century, and it's not the oldest in town.
