Russia isn't strong, Putin had made it weakest in history, only two other periods: Ivan the Terrible in late 1500s - early 1600s and 1917, can be somewhat comparable or worse (plus 1854 and 1905 to some degree after military disasters). And this weakness has been obvious since around 2008-2012 - no allies, China is no longer an equal partner, not even a leading partner, more like a master bending Russia any way they want and getting resources basically for free. And like that was not bad enough, for 21 month now Russia's military weakness has become more obvious than ever. Is Russia's GDP rising now? Yes, and that's bad for Russia. Why? Because it's not for a real economy producing something with added value, it's because of money funneled from budget into military production - wasted man hours and materials, that will not produce anything, but only kill people in Ukraine or get destroyed somewhere around Avdeevka. But you can keep supporting imperial Russia's neo-colonial war in Ukraine, if you enjoy that.
