  1. I guess, with beer there is an additional factor -  the pressure drops causing the temperature to fall too.

  2. pogo108 Why? Because bottle is not closed or because it's so cold no CO2 doesn't leave? Hm, I don't know then, really, with an enclosed vessel it's pretty clear, like an "air" (propane-butane) for cleaning computer equipment or any other canister / gas tank, that gets really, really cold when emptied quickly.
