  1. I wonder what happened to those Me 262 after the war? Some ex-German tanks and planes were used for at least a couple of years by other countries, until the run out of spares. I guess the most well known were Panter tanks in French service and Me 109 variant with underpowered Czekoslovakian engines used by Israel. Small arms were used for decades by various forces, some of them still surface in conflicts in Near East. Me 262 by the end of the war was still a pinnacle of technology. So, what happened to them? Were they scrapped, because of logistic problems, or did they quickly became obsolete?
