  1. I've been in an armoured vehicle only once - back in 1988 in I was in a summer camp in Poland with other school kids, in one of excursions to nearby city we had an opportunity to get into a BMP. Later in life I had to get on a scaffolding from time to time for measurements, still do. So I confirm - a helmet is very useful , especially if some metal bars or pipes are barely above your eye level, those suckers are the worst.
