Not Russia, USSR did lose those people. Russia suffered, sure, but the numbers in this video show Russia suffered below average loss of life, Belarus got hit hardest of all.

But the numbers also show, that Russia suffered BELOW average loss of population compared to the rest of USSR, other parts to the West of Russia were hit harder, much harder, yet they live on. Doesn't this indicate then problems in society itself? Lack of future perspectives being one of issues now, as Kremlin has pretty much screwed over everyone. And no, it's not only because of 2014 aggression against Ukraine, stagnation in Russian economics started in 2012 and it has been in decline since 2013.

@deltabeta5527 Oh, Boris will be fine, he lives only a couple of hundreds kilometers form me, here in EU. Besides, most Slavic nations are members of EU and NATO. P.S. Damn, I feel weird writing the word "Slavic", as Славик is the diminutive form of the name Vladislav / Владислав.
