  2. Dictatorships often tend to be poor, if they are rich, they tend to be more aligned with the West, than to have close relations with China. Sure, there are some democracies among buyers of planes made by PRC, but those are very, very few. Thus those buyers opt for cheaper one, it just makes sense.
