  1. Near East also needs forests, it actually had them in historic times, but they were list to both human activity and climate change. I believe it would also make that region a less shitty place. I've been thinking of it for a couple of years, since I read about forests that were once there. Then I googled and found, I'm not alone in this, the idea has been in the air for many years.
