  1. 20 USD per day is not bad. Back in late 1990s I worked for 130-160 USD per months (that was my netto earning - after taxes). And after 2008 crisis my pay plummeted to ~320 USD per month.

  2. And Adolf was "a bit' mistaken, to put it mildly. Or not exactly mistaken, just off by many decades. We here in USSR got really lucky, it did not end in a large bloodshed, people were so tired of tat crap, very few actually wished to fight for the regime in 1991.
