  5.  @cancelled_user  I know Slovaks and Czechs use "čau!" too, but it's really widespread informal greeting here in Latva, has been for decades since Soviet times, at least from 1980s, likely was around in 1970s, can't say about earlier times.

  6.  @cancelled_user  I suppose they do, but I'm not 100% sure. Even Russians do sometimes, but it has never been widespread over there.
