  1. I would not call him insane, crazy or mad. There is a rationale to be in absolute, cold rage, when all you see is an enemy, there is no (well, almost no) fear or any other thought, besides what exactly you can do, when you will reach your adversary. It's prettty liberating feeling of being in the moment, it's even sort of akin to happiness.

  2. You know, this story now hits differently, given that he was from a village near Kramatorsk, Ukraine, where Russian missile killed a lot of civilians on a railroad station this summer. He was an Ukrainian himself.
