  1. No, you could not. Machines miss only in movies. In real life computers are already so fast, they are able to target and destroy a flying artillery shell. So, as John Connor would be jumping out of window in a futile attempt to escape, Terminator would shoot one or two bullets from pistol, make aim adjustments by registering point of impact and turbulence trace in the air behind bullet, next bullets would hit John's brains, heart, both lungs and liver while he is still in the air, so only a corpse would land outside.
